1518 The town of Kamenets was given right of self-government by Magdeburg Law.
1519 The town of Ivatsevichi was mentioned in the chronicles for the first time.
1527 Pinsk was besieged by Crimean Tatar troops. Tatars were defeated by Great getman Konstantin Ostrozhsky.
1541 The national park of Belovezhskaya Pushcha was formed. Cutting of trees was banned since 1640. It was the first forest reserve in the Central and Eastern Europe.
1552 Logishin (Pinsk district) was mentioned for the first time.
1552 Ruzhany (Pruzhany district) was mentioned for the first time.
1553 The first printing-house in Belarus was founded in Brest.
1555 Motol (Ivanovo district) was given right of self-government by Magdeburg Law.
1561 A pharmacy was built in Pinsk.
1566 The town of Malorita was mentioned in the chronicles for the first time. It was the King village of Rita Malaya at that time.
1575-1586 Stephan Batoriy (Stepan Batura) was the King of Poland and the Great Prince of the Great Lithuanian Princedom.
1581 The town of Pinsk was given right of self-government by Magdeburg Law.
1587-1632 Zhigimont III Vaza was the King of Poland and the Great Prince of the Great Lithuanian Princedom.
1589 The towns of Kobrin and Pruzhany were given right of self-government by Magdeburg Law.
